For Gmail & Google Workspace
Answer freight quote requests in Gmail, priced and drafted for you
Price and answer truckload quote requests without leaving Gmail. Hopelight Quote reads each request, prices the lane with your rates and margin rules, and drafts the reply in the thread.
Free 1-week pilot. No credit card. Nothing is sent without your rep’s OK.
Most small and mid-size brokerages run their quoting desk out of a shared Gmail inbox. Requests arrive as one-line emails, forwarded chains and pasted spreadsheets, and every one of them needs the same routine: read it, work out the lane, look up a rate, add margin, type the reply. Hopelight Quote does that routine inside Gmail, so your reps only review and send.
How it works in Gmail
- Connect your quotes inbox with Google sign-in. There is no forwarding rule to set up and no new inbox to watch. We never see your password.
- Every quote request is read as it arrives. Origin, destination, stops, equipment, pick-up and delivery dates, weight, commodity, reefer temperature and accessorials are extracted from the email, however it is written.
- The lane is priced your way: the market rate from your own DAT RateView subscription, your recent history on the lane, and the margin rules you set by customer, lane and equipment.
- A ready-to-send reply appears in the same Gmail thread, in your tone, with the all-in rate and its validity. If something is missing, such as the pick-up date or the reefer temperature, the draft asks for it instead of guessing.
Your rep opens the draft, checks the numbers, and clicks Send. Nothing leaves your inbox without their OK.
What changes for your desk
| Today, by hand | With Hopelight Quote in Gmail |
|---|---|
| Read the email and work out the lane | Lane, equipment, dates and weight extracted for you |
| Open RateView in another tab and search the lane | Market rate already pulled from your subscription |
| Search old threads for what you quoted last time | Lane history and win rate shown next to the price |
| Decide the margin, or ask a manager | Your margin rules applied automatically |
| Type the reply | Reply drafted in the thread, ready to send |
Brokers usually spend 10 to 45 minutes on a quote by hand. With the draft waiting in the thread, review takes a minute or two, and the first credible rate is often the one that wins the load. See why quote response time decides who wins the load.
Works with how you already use Gmail
- Shared inboxes and delegated accounts: connect the address your shippers already write to, such as quotes@ or sales@.
- Labels and filters stay yours: Hopelight Quote only drafts replies to quote requests. Tracking questions, invoices and newsletters are left alone.
- Google Workspace or personal Gmail: both work. Most brokerages use Workspace for their company domain.
- No TMS switch: keep your TMS. Every quote and its outcome are logged in Hopelight so you can see reply times and win rate per rep.
Built for truckload brokers
Hopelight Quote handles dry van, reefer and flatbed full truckload: multi-stop loads, several loads in one email, reefer temperatures and modes, tarps, driver assist, team and appointment requirements. It is made for US brokerages with 2 to 50 people, where every rep quotes and nobody has time to retype the same lanes all day.
Frequently asked questions
Does Hopelight Quote send emails from my Gmail automatically?
No. It writes drafts in the original thread. A person reviews every draft and clicks Send in Gmail.
Do I need Google Workspace?
No. It works with Google Workspace and with personal Gmail accounts. Most brokerages connect a shared address on their company domain.
Which emails does it read?
It reads incoming messages in the inbox you connect to recognize quote requests, and drafts replies only to those. You can disconnect it at any time from your Google account settings.
Where do the prices come from?
From your own DAT RateView subscription, your lane history, and the margin rules you set. Without DAT, drafts are priced from your lane history and rules.
How long does setup take?
Usually 48 hours: connect the inbox, import a CSV of recent quotes, set your margin rules, and you are live.
