Hopelight Labs LLC is a small software company based in Sheridan, Wyoming. We build Hopelight Quote, an AI assistant that reads freight brokers' quote requests and drafts priced replies, and the Hopelight Network, where shippers post a load once and get offers from verified brokers who run that lane.

Why we started

Freight brokerage runs on speed. A shipper emails five brokers, and the first credible, complete answer usually wins the load. Yet most small and mid-size brokerages still price every request by hand: copy the cities into a rate tool, check what they quoted last time, do the margin math, type the reply. On a busy morning, a two-person desk can spend hours on that loop and still answer late.

We started Hopelight because that loop is exactly the kind of work software should take off a rep's plate, without taking the rep out of the decision. Hopelight Quote prices each request with the broker's own market data, lane history and margin rules, writes the draft, and leaves the final call to a person.

What we believe

  • People stay in control. Nothing leaves a broker's desk without a human approving it.
  • Your data is yours. We process customer data to run the product for that customer, and we don't sell it. See our privacy policy.
  • Small brokers deserve good tools. Large brokerages have engineering teams. A 5-person brokerage should be able to set up serious tooling in an afternoon, at a price that makes sense.
  • Say what's true. Our guides explain how freight pricing actually works, including where software doesn't help.

The team behind it

Hopelight is built by the same team behind Timlead, a field operations platform used by telecom, EV charging and smart-city teams, and Opilote, a GPS fleet management platform used by hundreds of fleets. We have spent years building operational software for transport and field teams, and Hopelight applies that experience to freight brokerage.

Each one follows our editorial policy: we cite public sources for facts and figures, mark examples as examples, and update articles when rules or markets change.
